Our main location, Directions Outpatient Centers, is in Philadelphia and offers PHP, IOP & OP. It’s a full-fledged rehabilitation center that acts as a first step to those who aim for a new, sober lifestyle.
Our Margate location, Directions Behavioral Health Centers, is a PHP day/night program with community housing. Here you can relax and enjoy your transition into recovery with activities such as massages and acupuncture.
There is no cure for addiction. However, many of those that have suffered from it in the past have overcome the odds and went on to live happy, sucessful lives. Our mission is not to cure the incurable, but to help create a bright future for those whose lives have been tormented by addiction. With hard work and dedication, you can create the next success story; and we here at Directions will stop at nothing to help you every step of the way.
Directions Outpatient Centers is located in the heart of South Philadelphia. During your stay, you’ll be surrounded by life, easy access to public transportation, jobs, 12-step meetings and much more.
Our second location is Directions Behavioral Health Centers in Margate, Florida. This location offers PHP & IOP with local housing in a relaxing, sunny environment.

Every case of addiction is a special case. We all have different stories and experiences that shape who we are and our habits as well. That’s why at Directions, each one of our alumni is thoroughly evaluated and will have a treatment program developed specifically for them.
For our Philadelphia location, our three main services are PHP, IOP and OP. Each one of these services follows a similar structure, but is adjusted to best suit the needs of the patient.
Our partial hospitalization program (PHP) is a comprehensive experience for those seeking structure while recovering from a substance use disorder. Providing hands-on guidance and targeted approaches to therapy, participants in PHP can expect to receive the care and treatment necessary to improve coping mechanisms and reduce the risk of relapse.
After the successful completion of a partial hospitalization program, our intensive outpatient program (IOP) provides a continued course of care for those committed to staying clean, sober and developing lifelong recovery.
Outpatient addiction treatment programs are designed for the patient who does not require a residential rehabilitation program, but still can benefit from a concentrated treatment plan, an individualized treatment approach. These outpatient drug rehab and outpatient alcohol treatment programs combine education on mind and body development during recovery; group, individual, and family therapy; and a family education component.
“Absolutely laid the ground work for a new way of life. Great, insightful learning experience where I received the support I needed. Forever grateful to Albert and the staff. Awesome caring people who I am in touch with to this day. Nothing but LOVE!!!!“
“The Staff in its entirety were awesome and extremely welcoming from the beginning! I was fortunate enough to have Theresa as my therapist and she was thorough, sincere and most importantly, she challenged me! Which in my opinion, are all essential ingredients pertaining to early on and continuous sobriety!“
“Overall amazing place. The staff is VERY supportive and caring, real personable and easy to spill your heart out to. The place is very clean, organized and comfortable. Speaking for myself as an individual who just moved here from a different town, everyone in this facility has made the transition for me very comforting and smooth. There’s not one person in this facility who hasn’t gone out of their way for me.“
“I have never been able to put six months together in the whole last decade of my use. I came to directions and hate to sound corny but was directed on how to not only stay clean but how to be happy and live my life with integrity and contentment..I have had a lot of ups and downs, learning how to live life again and they have put up with my mood swings and have helped me to keep pushing through. I’m truly grateful for this place and the help I’ve received here, good stuff.”
“Fantastic program. Staff was down to earth and made me feel like a person again. Thanks to them I have the longest period of sobriety I’ve ever had.“
