Partial Hospitalization Program

Our partial hospitalization program (PHP) is a comprehensive experience for those seeking structure while recovering from a substance use disorder. Providing hands-on guidance and targeted approaches to therapy, participants in PHP can expect to receive the care and treatment necessary to improve coping mechanisms and reduce the risk of relapse.

During PHP addiction treatment, patients will attend clinical sessions six days a week. As a partially hospital experience, PHP patients are able to get the intensive therapeutic care needed to break the bonds of addiction and lay the groundwork for ongoing recovery.

PHP offers the ability to transition between a traditional residential rehabilitation and an outpatient program, providing a graduated course of treatment that allows for a safe, controlled assimilation into daily life. Recovering substance users will have the chance to participate in individual and group psychotherapy to promote healing from the inside out, learning tools, skills, and strategies that can improve the chances of successful sobriety.

Intensive Outpatient

After the successful completion of a partial hospitalization program, our intensive outpatient program (IOP) provides a continued course of care for those committed to staying clean, sober and developing lifelong recovery.

In an IOP, patients live in their own residences or in sober living residences but spend hours every day participating in treatment programs and continuing their growth and development in group and individual therapy. While in IOP, substance users have the opportunity to integrate tasks like work and school back into their schedules while still committing significant time and energy to their personal recovery journey.

The average IOP program lasts from 60 to 90 days, depending on the needs of each individual participant. This process provides continued support in sobriety as recovering patients move toward complete independence from any and all forms of substance abuse.

Outpatient addiction treatment programs are designed for the patient who does not require a residential rehabilitation program, but still can benefit from a concentrated treatment plan, an individualized treatment approach. These outpatient drug rehab and outpatient alcohol treatment programs combine education on mind and body development during recovery; group, individual, and family therapy; and a family education component. A patient’s length of stay and type of Outpatient Service is based on the individual’s clinical needs.

Psychoanalytic Therapy

The goal of psychoanalytic therapy is to resurface repressed thoughts, emotions and experiences that occurred during childhood in most cases. After those thoughts are brought back into the world, the client and therapist can work together to examine how those experiences affect behavior, way of thinking, and relationships.

EMDR Therapy

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is a powerful treatment for PTSD. You will relive past traumatic experiences by focusing on a negative image or memory. Your therapist will have you perform eye and minor body movements which aim to guide you through your trauma. With time, stress and anxiety you have towards those memories begin to fade away.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a set of interventions where you and the therapist identify your extreme behaviors, assess which ones are detrimental, and find solutions on how to overcome behavioral habits. Those undergoing CBT will learn coping strategies aimed to help regulate emotions and challenge negative and inaccurate thoughts towards oneself. The goal is to help develop stress-management skills for improvement in responding to stressful situations.

Dialectic Behavioral Therapy

Dialectic Behavioral Therapy is a form of cognitive behavioral therapy that focuses on treating personality and mood disorders. DBT aims to change harmful behavioral patterns such as suicidal tendencies, self-harm or substance abuse in order to strengthen the relationship one has with themselves and their loved ones.

Music Therapy

Music Therapy involves the use of listening to, writing, creating and singing music in a therapeautic setting. By using music as a means of expression, those undergoing music therapy have seen their newly-developed musical skills transfer to other parts of their lives, such as communication and expression of feelings.
