Partial Hospitalization Program

Philadelphia & Margate

Our partial hospitalization program (PHP) is a comprehensive experience for those seeking structure while recovering from a substance use disorder. Providing hands-on guidance and targeted approaches to therapy, participants in PHP can expect to receive the care and treatment necessary to improve coping mechanisms and reduce the risk of relapse.

During PHP addiction treatment, patients will attend clinical sessions six days a week. As a partially hospital experience, PHP patients are able to get the intensive therapeutic care needed to break the bonds of addiction and lay the groundwork for ongoing recovery.

PHP offers the ability to transition between a traditional residential rehabilitation and an outpatient program, providing a graduated course of treatment that allows for a safe, controlled assimilation into daily life. Recovering substance users will have the chance to participate in individual and group psychotherapy to promote healing from the inside out, learning tools, skills, and strategies that can improve the chances of successful sobriety.

Intensive Outpatient

Philadelphia & Margate

After the successful completion of a partial hospitalization program, our intensive outpatient program (IOP) provides a continued course of care for those committed to staying clean, sober and developing lifelong recovery.

In an IOP, patients live in their own residences or in sober living residences but spend hours every day participating in treatment programs and continuing their growth and development in group and individual therapy. While in IOP, substance users have the opportunity to integrate tasks like work and school back into their schedules while still committing significant time and energy to their personal recovery journey.

The average IOP program lasts from 60 to 90 days, depending on the needs of each individual participant. This process provides continued support in sobriety as recovering patients move toward complete independence from any and all forms of substance abuse.

Outpatient

Philadelphia only

Outpatient addiction treatment programs are designed for the patient who does not require a residential rehabilitation program, but still can benefit from a concentrated treatment plan, an individualized treatment approach. These outpatient drug rehab and outpatient alcohol treatment programs combine education on mind and body development during recovery; group, individual, and family therapy; and a family education component. A patient’s length of stay and type of Outpatient Service is based on the individual’s clinical needs.
